A live view helps you line up the negative, and each frame lands in the import pipeline the moment you take it, so a roll goes from camera to finished positive without a detour through Finder. Canon, Nikon and Sony bodies are the best supported; Fujifilm needs USB tethered shooting switched on in the camera menu, and Panasonic support depends on the model. NegBreaker tells you on connect whether your camera can be triggered remotely.
